Here is the direct route which is basically a one day blast down the interstate highway system.

Lodging 

These are motels used during my group’s 2004 and 2005 travels along the Blue Ridge Parkway (BRP). Some hotel managers allowed us to park our bikes on the sidewalk by the main door so they could keep an eye on them overnight.
